PLASTIC "Poor Lesson ASsestment That Impact Climate"
Plastic, one of the most common materials that we uses everyday from domestic to industrial use. We use it everyday that we ignore how to use and dispose it properly. It's been a problem for almost 3 decades now. It contribute on our detiriorating ozone layer that protects us from UV rays coming from the sun, and if not dispose properly, it will block our sewer system that causes flood in the cities , even when it's not raining.
I have been collecting some data on how many plastic (plastic bags) we uses everyday and I found out that more plastic is used in household materials like plastic bags. One of the most common is in the wet market where so many people flocks to buy some dry and perishible goods.
Ex:
I have bought some vegetables in one vendor, he gave the goods on a plastic bags and then I went to buy some fish, he also gave me the goods on a plastic bags then another for the spices and etc. And take note this is only for the morning in the wet market, so assuming that I have with me six plastic bags on one day times the number of days ( 7days ) times 4 weeks, I will have with me 168-180 plastic bags in a month. Take that number times the number of people around your cities, that's the plastic bags we have to trash in one month. As you can see all things that we buy for domestic use is in plastic bags.
So try to contribute to lessen the usage of plastic bags in our everyday life, start by bringing used plastic with you when trying to buy just about anything or start by putting all goods together in one plastic bags or hand carry small things if you can do. Also help recycle plastic bottles and cans together to avoid more trash in our dumpsite.
A proper lesson on how to dispose the plastic would make great effect in our changing climate, from children to adults and I would suggest that government should have strict law about proper disposal of plastic garbage.
